In your key role as a DWH & BI Engineer, you will be gathering and shaping the data, that drives management-level decisions in hospitals. Help to increase healthcare professionals' efficiency so they could provide the best support for patients. In your role, you will work very closely with Estonia’s biggest hospitals like Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikum and Ida-Tallinna Keskhaigla. 

Responsibilities

In your versatile role you will:  

  • Manage and maintain Oracle databases, with a focus on ETL processes and SQL query and PL/SQL optimization.
  • Extract specific data sets from primary databases to fulfill client reporting needs.
  • Transform and prepare the extracted data for integration into client-specific reports.
  • Oversee and optimize data loading processes to ensure efficient data transfer.
  • Assist clients in creating custom reports to meet their reporting requirements.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within data workflows and queries.

Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in BI Development  
  • Hands-on experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Oracle BI, Tableau, or others, including their configuration and maintenance 
  • Proven experience with SQL programming (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or others)  
  • Experience with Data Warehousing  
  • Knowledge of database management systems (Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL, or other)  
  • Experience with data integration processes (e.g., ETL, ELT) and managing data pipelines 
  • Fluency in spoken and written Estonian 
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve BI system issues
