We are now seeking Accountant to join our Estonian Finance team, which is divided between Tallinn and Tartu. It is a full time role, with a possibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase invoices, employee cost- and travel reports, and input them into financial systems
  • Control and archive accounting documents
  • Prepare payment orders in the banking and accounting system
  • Insert payments received and bank transactions in accounting program
  • Answer daily accounting-related queries with support from senior accountants
  • Process purchase and sales transactions in financial systems
  • Compiling ad hoc reports in your field of responsibility
  • Handle a higher workload, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial data

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 1- 2 years of experience in the field
  • Fluency in Estonian & English
  • Familiarity with accounting software (no deep expertise required—training provided)
  • Understanding of basic financial reports (balance sheet, profit & loss statement)
  • Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Comfortable working under pressure when deadlines are tight
  • Self-motivation, creativity, business and target orientation

Nice-to-Have (But Not Required)

  • Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365, Finbite/Omniva, or BI tools
  • Finnish language skills
