Overview

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our growing Vilnius team. In this role, you will be leading a collaborative and dynamic software delivery process for a team of 10-20 high skilled IT specialists locally with close co-operation with our teams in Estonia, Germany, Finland, or the US.  

You are expected to take full ownership over the team including mentoring and coaching, training planning, hiring of employees, finances tracking, communicating with all stakeholders, using agile project management methodology. 

You will also become a part of the Lithuanian leadership team. We expect you to contribute to decision-making and shaping the local organization. 

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for: 

Software delivery process management 

  • Refining software delivery process, monitoring its efficiency  
  • Accountable for delivery scope, schedule and cost 
  • Contributing to the project planning, resourcing, budgeting, and financial management 
  • Resolving team and project issues 

Performance management 

  • Monitoring team performance and making sure that team capacity and velocity is sufficient to meet project schedule and scope 
  • KPI management 
  • Accountable for team performance  

Communication and reporting 

  • Communicating on technical, business, and management topics with project stakeholders (PMs, Team Leads, POs)  

Leading people  

  • Building and organizing teams, hiring and firing authority in delivery teams 
  • Scaling the teams to meet workload and efficiency requirements. 
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for team members  
  • Responsible for the well-being of the teams 

Representing Delivery center 

  • Participating in the sales process 
  • Participating in activities that are aimed at growing and improving the delivery center

Qualifications

You will fit right if you have:  

  •  BS/MS, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Management
  • 2 years of proven leadership experience (Team Lead/PM/DM experience in the technical community)
  • Experience in running a distributed team of 10 or more people in an international environment
  • Good communication skills - able to make technical talk understandable and provide practical advice to all stakeholders
  • Experience in team HR processes - resource review & planning, training planning, hiring
  • A great deal of understanding of software delivery life-cycle & modern delivery approaches
  • Experience with project financial & budget management (P&L, planning, forecasting, deviation analysis, etc.)

Salary range (bruto) 4000 - 6000 EUR.
