We are now seeking Accountant to join our Estonian Finance team, which is divided between Tallinn and Tartu. It is a full time role, with a possibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Accountant in tax declarations, monthly and annual closings

  • Handle salary and expense report calculations

  • Manage intra-group transactions, including invoicing and reconciliations

  • Compile reports for Statistics Estonia and Bank of Estonia

  • Participate in audits

  • Process purchase and sales transactions in financial systems

  • Contribute to planning and improving financial systems and processes

  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

  • Fluent in English and Estonian (written and spoken)

  • Solid understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Proactive, goal-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel between Tartu and Tallinn

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with MS Axapta/Dynamics 365, Finbite/Omniva, and BI tools

  • Understanding of IFRS

  • UK accounting experience
