We’re seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and grow Nortal’s business in the UK. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth across the public sector.


As Sales Director, you’ll shape go-to-market strategies, inspire a high-performing cross functional team, and engage senior decision-makers to deliver secure and transformational outcomes.

Responsibilities

As Sales Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Nortal’s growth in the UK market. Your responsibilities will span across strategy, execution, and leadership:
• Lead Growth & Strategy – Drive profitable growth by setting ambitious sales targets, creating go-to-market strategies, and ensuring they are executed successfully.
• Build Lasting Relationships – Engage directly with C-level executives, senior decision-makers, and stakeholders across government and defence, becoming a trusted advisor on digital transformation and cybersecurity.
• Expand Nortal’s Presence – Identify and pursue new market opportunities while strengthening and expanding existing accounts through cross-selling and long-term engagement.
• Sales Excellence & Performance – Own the pipeline, oversee forecasting, and track key metrics to ensure consistent performance and accountability.
• Inspire & Lead a High-Performing Team –Mentor, and develop cross functional teams creating a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Shape Winning Proposals – Oversee and guide the bid and proposal process, ensuring submissions clearly demonstrate Nortal’s value and stand out in competitive markets.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work hand-in-hand with delivery and marketing teams to co-create tailored, innovative client solutions.
• Negotiate & Close Major Deals – Take the lead in contract negotiations, ensuring outcomes that are commercially sound and aligned with Nortal’s standards and client needs.
• Champion Nortal in the Market – Act as an ambassador for Nortal, representing our expertise at industry events, forums, and client engagements to strengthen our brand presence.

 

Qualifications


• Proven success in senior sales leadership within IT services, consulting, or digital transformation.
• Strong knowledge of the UK public sector (government and/or defence).
• Track record of leading teams to exceed targets in complex, consultative sales cycles.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
