Overview

Join our mission to build seamless experiences

At Nortal, we’re shaping the future of digital transformation — combining strategy, technology, and design to create meaningful impact. We’re now expanding our QA and Automation team in Lithuania and looking for a strong mid-to-senior SDET to join us on this journey.

About the role

As an SDET at Nortal, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud infrastructure pipelines. You’ll collaborate with a global team to build and maintain automation frameworks and testing solutions that make our delivery process faster, more robust, and more efficient.

This role requires both technical depth and flexibility. You’ll be working across multiple layers — from automation to functional testing — and leveraging DevOps tools to configure, test, and optimize cloud infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do as SDET

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) components, including Terraform and Ansible.
  • Test and validate cloud infrastructure pipelines and configuration code.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using modern DevOps tools.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and other SDETs to ensure high test coverage and reliability.
  • Drive improvements in testing processes, frameworks, and automation strategies.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Strong background in QA – hands-on experience with the full QA lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in test automation (writing, maintaining, and scaling automated tests).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, containerization, pipeline configuration).
  • Experience testing infrastructure-as-code solutions (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Solid scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, or similar).
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and curiosity to continuously improve.

Why Nortal

  • Hybrid work environment with flexibility and autonomy.
  • Opportunity to work on global projects with a diverse, talented team.
  • Culture that values growth, transparency, and balance.
  • Access to cutting-edge technologies and learning opportunities.
