At Nortal, we think big. We build digital solutions that truly matter — from transforming governments and healthcare systems, to enabling smarter telecom services and helping large enterprises become more agile and competitive.
Our work has already impacted more than half a billion people worldwide, and we’re still just getting started.
Inspired by the experience of turning Estonia into a global digital leader, our mission is to build a Seamless Society — one where technology simply works, quietly and reliably, in the background of everyday life.
To support this mission, we’re looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer (Java/Angular) who enjoys solving meaningful problems and wants to grow together with a strong, collaborative engineering community.
As a Fullstack Software Engineer at Nortal, you will:

Hands-on experience with Angular (experience with React or Vue.js is a plus)
Experience with cloud-native development (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Good understanding of relational databases (SQL) and familiarity with NoSQL concepts and trade-offs
Experience using Git and working in collaborative codebases
Solid understanding of different programming paradigms (OOP, functional, imperative, declarative)
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Nice to have:

Knowledge of Node.js
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices

We like to say Nortal is a right-sized company — big enough to deliver large, impactful projects, yet small enough that your voice truly matters.
At Nortal, you will:
Work on meaningful projects with real-world impact
Collaborate with experienced, supportive colleagues in a warm and respectful environment
Have the freedom to bring your ideas to life without unnecessary bureaucracy
Grow professionally through challenging work that’s globally relevant and transferable
