We're looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team, split between Tallinn and Tartu. The role is based in Estonia. Remote and hybrid work are options.
What you'll do
- Process purchase invoices, employee expense and travel reports, and enter them into financial systems
- Prepare payment orders in the banking and accounting system
- Record incoming payments and bank transactions
- Control and archive accounting documents
- Handle purchase and sales transactions in financial systems
- Answer day-to-day accounting queries, with support from senior accountants
- Compile ad hoc reports as needed
What you bring
Required:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting
- Fluent in Estonian and English, written and spoken
- Solid MS Excel skills
- Basic understanding of financial statements: balance sheet and P&L
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working under pressure when deadlines are tight
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365, Finbite/Omniva, or BI tools
