Overview

At Nortal, we help organisations create digital infrastructure that delivers real-world results. Our clients include governments, defence institutions, and large businesses. As we take on more public sector and defence projects, we are strengthening our internal security. We are looking for a Responsible Person for Classified Information Management (RSKKI) to oversee the management, processing, protection, and governance of classified information at Nortal.
This compliance and process-focused role is ideal for someone who enjoys working within clear structures.
This is a hybrid role with both on-site and remote work. Tasks such as maintaining document registers, handling clearance processes, conducting briefings, and responding to incidents must be performed in person at our secure Tallinn facilities. Other responsibilities, such as developing policies and coordinating activities, can be done remotely or with flexible arrangements. You will need to be on-site for security-sensitive work, but other duties allow for flexibility based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

You will be Nortal's main point of contact for classified information, managing its handling, storage, transmission, registration, and destruction. This includes Estonian State Secrets, EU-classified, and NATO-classified information. You will also create and enforce policies to ensure legal compliance and act as the official contact for KAPO, the NSA Office, and the Ministry of Defence.
You will keep logs of classified documents, manage clearance processes, ensure secure storage, conduct briefings, lead incident responses, and prepare for audits.
This role involves many procedures and documentation, so attention to consistency is important.

What You Bring

  • Professional fluency in Estonian and English.
  • Thorough knowledge of Estonia, EU, and NATO classified information regulations.
  • Experience in compliance, information security, or risk management.
  • Strong documentation, discipline, and analytical precision.
  • Ability to coordinate confidently with national security authorities.
  • High personal integrity and the judgment to handle sensitive material.
  • National security clearance or eligibility to obtain it (required).

If you have experience with IT infrastructure, secure networks, or cryptographic systems, that's a plus. The role may involve secure workstations, isolated networks, and the management of cryptomaterial. However, the focus is on policy and process ownership.

Why Nortal

  • We hire people not only for their skills but also for cultural add. We live by our values: commit to delivering value and results, take ownership, empower yourself and others, and own your future and growth.
  • We care about your growth and development. At Nortal, we support constant improvement and knowledge sharing.

  • We support your work-life balance and provide flexible working hours.
