AI-Driven Product Owner, Media sector

We’re now looking for an AI-Driven Product Owner to work with one of Finland’s leading media companies. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of a major media transformation. You’ll join a large-scale modernization program, where AI is used to understand, reshape and modernize complex, business-critical systems into solutions fit for the future.  

AI is not a side experiment here – it’s a practical tool used to support decision-making, clarification, and delivery in a complex environment. As Product Owner, you’ll play a key role in turning ambiguity into clarity and ideas into delivered capabilities. 

In this role, you will:

• Build novel software solutions for our customer, starting from understanding customer goals and validating assumptions to prioritisation, feature scoping, delivery, and iterative improvement.  
• Work closely with customer and product teams to understand context, constraints, and needs, ensuring delivery meets agreed scope, timelines, and business objectives.  
• Gather, synthesise, and refine inputs from discussions, existing systems, documentation, and AI‑generated artifacts into a clear solution direction.  
• Define what the system must do, for whom, and why, translating product vision into capabilities, user groups, journeys, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.  
• Support a cross‑functional agile team, keeping alignment on vision, priorities, sprint goals, and momentum by continuously refining scope and answering questions.  
• Monitor and communicate delivery progress and impact (e.g. demos, reports), identify new product opportunities, and use prototypes to drive alignment when written specs are not sufficient. 

What we’re looking for:

You don’t have to be a developer, but you should have genuine technical curiosity and enough understanding of modern AI-driven software delivery and AI tools to operate effectively in that space. What matters most is your ability to take ownership and drive progress independently. 

You might be a strong fit if you have: 

• Experience in product ownership, business analysis, consulting, or similar client-facing roles
• The ability to work independently with customers and “take the lead” in discovery and clarification
• Experience on AI-driven software delivery and its best practices, and hands-on experience on utilizing modern AI tools such as Claude Code as part of the development process (analysis, clarification, documentation, prototyping, ideation)
• Capability to translate between business language and engineering realities
• Awareness of typical pitfalls: dependencies, process impacts, integration complexity, and cost/effort implications
• Fluent communication skills in English and Finnish
