Senior / Principal Full Stack Software Engineer

To achieve this vision, we’re looking for a talented and driven Senior or Principal level Full Stack Software Engineer – confident on both sides of the stack – to join our team. You will design and build backend services in Java, Node.js, or TypeScript and craft modern web interfaces in Angular or React. • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions across backend and frontend. 
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. 
• Apply best practices and architectural patterns to ensure scalability, maintainability, performance, and security of the applications. 
• Work in a spec-driven development style: turn product specs into clear technical specs, then deliver against them using AI-assisted tools as a core part of the workflow. 
• Mentor less experienced engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance. 

• At least 5 years of professional full stack development experience. 
• Strong backend experience with Java (Spring / Spring Boot) or Node.js with TypeScript (NestJS, Express, or Fastify). 
• Strong frontend experience with Angular or React, including TypeScript, modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, or Nx), state management, component testing (Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress), and an eye for accessibility, performance, and reusable design-system components. 
• Working exposure to both Angular and React, or to both Java and Node.js/TypeScript backends. 
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. 

Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with contemporary relational and/or NoSQL databases. 

• Ability to write unit and integration tests, refactor existing code, and work confidently with large existing codebases. 
• Knowledge of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and effective development methodologies. 
• Understanding of the principles of Scrum methodology. 
• Open-minded, solutions-oriented, and able to translate end-customer value into engineering decisions. 
• Good communication skills (spoken and written) with fluent English as essential. 

Nice to have: 

• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, or SOA. 
• Hands-on experience with spec-driven development powered by AI – writing specs that AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) can execute against – and previous work in an AI-first engineering environment is a strong advantage. 

Salary range: 

• 5000 – 6250 EUR gross for Senior Level position  
• 6250 – 7500 EUR gross for Principal Level position

This is a hybrid role based in Lithuania. We work remote-first, with regular in-person collaboration days at our office – this combination is our standard way of working. We are currently unable to consider candidates living outside of the country.
