Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will be an active member of an empowered Scrum team, working closely with stakeholders, delivery managers, and software engineers to ensure a shared understanding of system features and functionality — with the aim of delivering requirements that are unambiguous, well-structured, and ready for engineering. You will collaborate closely with governance and compliance stakeholders across regions to make sure requirements reflect real business needs and support the programme's identity governance objectives.

About Project
Join an established identity transformation programme focused on standardising identity governance and access management across a large international organisation. Following the adoption of Microsoft Entra ID Governance, the programme is delivering new regional work packages to streamline access processes, strengthen governance controls, and create a scalable identity foundation supporting more than 34,000 identities.
The Business Analyst is responsible for capturing and translating business needs around identity governance and access management into clear, actionable requirements, and for supporting the delivery of dashboards, reports, and new regional work packages across the programme.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an empowered Scrum team responsible for requirements analysis, clarifications, and the creation of dashboards and reports.
  • Document and analyse business needs around identity governance and access management, and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, delivery managers, and software engineers to ensure shared understanding of system features and functionality.
  • Deliver clear and structured requirements to the engineering team in a timely manner.
  • Support your team throughout the development lifecycle to ensure delivery of the best possible solution.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer's identity and access management processes, systems, and business models, and help implement industry best practices for identity governance.
  • Contribute to the delivery of new regional work packages as part of the programme roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness, with the ability to grasp complex problems and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to balance diverse stakeholder needs and facilitate alignment across global markets and regions.
  • Skilled in requirements elicitation methods, including business process modelling (BPM), UML, use/test cases, and prototyping.
  • Experience in creating, analysing, and validating detailed functional specifications and system design elements, including data rules, business rules, wireframes, and other deliverables.
  • Experience in data/field mapping from external systems into internal ones by interpreting XML or JSON schemas.
  • Proven ability to create user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria/scenarios within a BDD framework.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Lean software delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
