About the project
TUI, is a global business with over 70 000 people on board, great history and challenging plans for building a digital future. TUI is the largest leisure, travel and tourism company globally, and it owns travel agencies, hotels, airlines, cruise ships and retail shops.

As an Automated Quality Engineer,you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of software products and services. Working within a cross-functional Agile team, you will drive quality engineering practices across the entire software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and operation. You will contribute to test strategy, test automation, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a strong DevSecOps mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop API and UI automation tests for application as well as manual testing
  • Automate integration, E2E flows, load and stress testing ( last two optional).
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD process
  • Assists with the development of test strategies, creation of appropriate test harnesses and implementation of on-going metrics
  • Work as a valued member of the team with personal responsibility, adding value to all test activities as well as other activities in the team in order to deliver qualitative software as efficiently as possible
  • Produce high-quality test assets as part of sprint testing
  • Actively contribute and drive the on-going improvement of the testing process, knowledge, quality and best practice

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in testing and good understanding of its concepts
  • Experience in JavaScript/Typescript automation,
  • Experience with Jira, Xray
  • Experience with API testing (Rest API, GraphQL API), event based API
  • Experience with Playwright framework
  • Experiences with AWS, microservice architecture.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g. AWS Kiro, ChatGPT/Claude) to assist with test design, code generation, and debugging, along with familiarity with AI agent-based workflows for test automation.
  • Experience with Gitlab CI
  • Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English
